Dr. oec. Walter Müllhaupt, LL.M.

Education:

Dr. oec. Walter Müllhaupt concluded his studies at the University of St. Gallen with the master degree in 1970 and with the Ph.D. in economics in 1974. Also in 1974 he passed the bar exam in St. Gallen. After further studies at the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley, he obtained the master of laws (LL.M.) in 1975.

Activities:

Dr. oec. Walter Müllhaupt worked from 1975 until 1979 as attorney at law in a big Zurich law firm. Subsequently he was the CEO of an international commercial firm in Zurich until 1982. 1982 he established the law firm and since then he is practising as independent attorney at law. He is the author of various publications in the field of commercial and tax law.

His preferred practice areas are: commercial, company and general contract law, merger and acquisitions, company relocations, banking and capital markets, collective investments, IT-law, foundations and trusts, taxation as well as international private law.

Memberships and admissions:

Dr. oec. Walter Müllhaupt is a member of the Zurich and the Swiss Bar Associations as well as of the Swiss Bankers Association. He is registered in the lawyers' register and admitted as attorney at law to all courts in Switzerland.
